EG Series Linear Guide — Low Assembly Ball Type
The EG series uses four rows of steel balls in the same 45° contact arrangement as the HG series, but in a lower, shorter block. Equal load in all four directions, self-aligning within the elastic range, and it absorbs mounting-surface error. Designed for high-speed automation machinery and small machines where mounting space is the constraint.
Technical highlights
- Four-row ball contact — equal rated load in all four directions
- Self-aligning: absorbs mounting-surface error without losing accuracy
- Lower assembly height and shorter block than the HG series
- Ball retainer built into the block — balls stay in place when the block is slid off the rail
- Interchangeable and matched-set versions share the same dimensions; interchange blocks cannot reach the ultra-precision matched-set grades
Models
| Block type | Code | Sizes |

Where it is used
High-speed automation
Transfer, pick-and-place and gantry axes where a low moving mass shortens cycle time.
Compact machines
When mounting height is the hard constraint and the frame cannot be raised.
Laser and engraving heads
Low profile on a moving head, with a short block for tight envelopes.
Packaging machinery
Fast repeatable strokes where the block has to fit inside a crowded frame.
